Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Pointe-Claire, Canada is looking for a Senior Analyst in Quality Assurance. This role focuses on evaluating supplier quality, developing relationships, and overseeing first article inspections. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in both English and French. Travelling outside of Canada is required.

Qualifications

What are your contributions to the team?

• Develop strong relationships with the Supplier’s Quality Leadership team.
• Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and define improvement plan objectives.
• Support source inspection at the suppliers (frequent traveling).
• Plan and validate first article inspection.
• Participate in investigations for supplier quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and containment plans.
• Participate in different governance activities and lead Quality reviews with the suppliers.
• Manage complex quality issues while maintaining strong relationships internally and with the supplier.
• Provide technical support and follow-up on quality deliverables.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• You possess a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.
• You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player, and demonstrate initiative, leadership, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• You must be available to travel outside of Canada on short notice.
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly of components with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
• Advanced problem resolution and project management experience.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and related quality standards.
• You have good oral and technical writing skills in English and French are required
