Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving, revising, and analyzing Quality Investigation Requests (QIR) from customers and initiating proper activities with internal stakeholders.
• Searching within Bombardier’s documentation (e.g., drawings, processes, etc.).
• Inspecting aircraft components.
• Determining root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinating and managing containment actions with stakeholders involved in quality escapes (Quality, Engineering, Methods, Logistics, etc.).
• Leading weekly QIR reviews.
• Presenting new QIRs to management and providing updates as required.
• Preparing, updating, and presenting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• Holding a college or university degree in mechanical, aerospace, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Having at least five (5) years of experience in a regulated field such as Quality, Engineering, Methods, or Production.
• Ability to work independently from home and on-site.
• Being a strong team player, self-motivated, proactive, with leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Possessing negotiation skills.
• Being rigorous in monitoring processes.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Good oral and technical writing skills in English and French; Spanish is an asset.
• Knowledge of project management and problem resolution is an asset.
• Experience in design, manufacturing, inspection, or assembly of aircraft components is an asset.
