This role involves supporting the build of demand forecasting and trade spending in the trade management system, as well as supporting trade management with deductions clearing.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Client Director with sales planning through creating demand forecasts using information from sales, POS, and other external data sources.
  • Assist Customer Account Managers in developing customer plans/projections and uploading them into client systems with the help of Trade Management Specialists.
  • Proactively investigate forecast accuracy and performance, assess deviations, support re-forecasting, and communicate findings and recommendations to relevant departments.
  • Identify relevant market data and competitive intelligence through POS analysis and research.
  • Support the Client Director in assessing the impact of future promotional plans on forecasts.
  • Provide reports on volume and trade spend metrics to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Finance/Marketing preferred) or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2 to 5 years of CPG experience.
  • Experience in trade marketing, account management, and category management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage large datasets.
  • Problem-solving skills with strong analytical, decision-making, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, especially working with spreadsheets.
