Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support for portfolio management, including performance analysis, risk covenants, and exposure analysis.
  • Support portfolio reporting, including the production of the Quarterly Portfolio Monitoring package and other management reports.
  • Manage data activities, including data collection/validation, monthly imports, and investment creation in iLevel.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team for background check renewals.
  • Maintain financial models to assist in portfolio construction and value-added initiatives.
  • Participate in projects to generate portfolio insights and support asset class mandates.
  • Act as back-up to the Senior Analysts.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of one (1) year of related working experience in finance and/or financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with alternative asset class concepts such as Private Equity/Infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (an asset).
  • CFA, CAIA, or other professional designation or enrollment in the program (an asset).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; PowerBI and iLevel experience are assets.
  • Bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
