Job Description

Job Title: Analyst, Physical Access Services- Security

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: 8 Hour, Days, Monday – Friday. It is an in-office position.

Pay Rate: $22.00/ hr. to start with incremental increases every 6-12 months based on performance.

No security license is required.

Main Responsibilities:

Join the Physical Access Services team at client's site, on their mission to create an Enterprise wide, best-in-class physical security program. The Physical Access Services team is focused on both the continuous improvement of the program and the growth of the individuals within the team. As a member of the team, you’ll contribute directly to the growth of the program. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, an effective communicator who works well in a team environment and someone who actively challenges the status quo.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer an enterprise security system. This includes modifying access permissions for existing cardholders, coordinating the provisioning of new or replacement credentials and managing the access requests for visitors/suppliers;
  • Take an active role in the continuous improvement of the physical access services program by identifying potential inefficiencies and implementing improvements to processes;
  • Collaborate with team members in developing and maintaining processes based on industry bestpractice;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners andpeers;
  • Stay organized while coordinating access reconciliations to meet internal and industry auditrequirements;
  • Manage escalations in a timely and professionalmanner;
  • Manage client expectations/concerns through strong communication skills, both verbal andwritten;
  • Being flexible in changing businessneeds;

The Ideal Candidate will demonstratethe following skills and characteristics:

  • Able to establish and maintain relationships of trust with internal and external clients. Strong customer serviceskills;
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a professional and polished manner.
  • Able to learn new software applications/programs quickly andeffectively;
  • Focused on continuously improving both the program andyourself;
  • Prioritizing andmanage ownwork to ensure quality and efficiency (i.e.meet deadlines; be flexible in adjusting to changing work priorities);
  • Participating fully as a member of the team and contributing to a positive workenvironment;
  • Experience performing access card provisioning tasks on an enterprise access control system considered an asset.
  • Bilingual – fluent in both English and French considered an asset.
