Reporting to the Payroll Manager within People Experience, the Payroll Analyst will support the overhaul of the global payroll systems and processes focusing primarily on the Canadian and US payroll transformations. The Analyst will play a crucial role in data analysis, process documentation, staff training, and troubleshooting, ensuring that the new payroll operations are accurate, compliant, and efficient. This position aims to enhance the overall payroll function, contributing to improved employee satisfaction and operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
Conduct data analysis, testing and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new payroll processes
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues during the transformation process
Skills & Experience:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with payroll software and tools, specifically:
Workday:HCM and Payroll
Dayforce:Payroll
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision
