Analyst, Payroll Implementation (13 Month Contract)

Role Overview

Reporting to the Payroll Manager within People Experience, the Payroll Analyst will support the overhaul of global payroll systems, focusing on Canadian and US payroll transformations. Responsibilities include data analysis, process documentation, staff training, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations, enhancing employee satisfaction and operational excellence.

Accountabilities
  1. Conduct data analysis, testing, and validation to ensure payroll data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new payroll processes.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues during the transformation process.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with payroll software, specifically Workday (HCM and Payroll) and Dayforce (Payroll).
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
