Location and Program Details

Location: Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK

Term Length: 2-year rotation. At the conclusion of the rotation, the successful candidate will be placed into a role within one of the functions within the IDS Department. Placement will consider business needs, openings, participant strengths, and preferences. Interviews to begin January 2026.

Position

Reporting to the Corporate IDS function, the New Grad Tech Program Analyst will rotate through key technology functions such as Data, Cyber Security, Enterprise Applications, Digital Delivery, Network Cloud, and User Experience (UX) over a two-year period. The role contributes to key efforts and initiatives while gaining exposure to information and digital solutions within Nutrien and developing leadership skills to drive strategic results. A mentor from the IDS Leadership Team will guide the rotation, along with assigned leads for each segment. The role emphasizes learning and development through hands-on work and mentoring opportunities.

Learning, developing, and growing knowledge and skills in key technology capabilities and functions are foundational to the program. Specific activities include:

  • Work with IT functional and project teams to develop and execute efforts across our global organization to deliver technology solutions and value.
  • Learn and participate in hands-on activities to grow skills in core facets of digital and technology work streams.
  • Participate and present hypotheses and improvement ideas to various stakeholders and leaders.
  • Grow knowledge of business methods and technological approaches by observing and experimenting in a supportive environment.
  • Develop business acumen and leadership skills through mentoring and other learning opportunities.
