Under the supervision of the Manager, Negotiation, the Analyst is responsible for supporting all negotiation-related activities for a given product group. The analyst will ensure that decision-making tools and reports are provided to optimize the performance of the categories in question.

Your role

  1. Support the Manager and Director during category revision negotiations;
  2. Prepare and analyze negotiation files;
  3. Assist the Manager, Negotiation in proposal analysis and supplier selection;
  4. Participate in minor agreement negotiations and renewals;
  5. Evaluate supplier performance through various analysis related to volume discounts and other agreement conditions and make recommendations;
  6. Analyze market trends and keep abreast of the latest market developments;
  7. Carry out monthly analysis of raw material and currency prices (US, Euro, Yuan);
  8. Analyze and manage price changes with support teams;
  9. Manage the opening and closing of supplier accounts with support teams;
  10. Act as a resource person for the various business units.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • College or university degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience;
  • 2-3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, merchandising, brand management, or related field;
  • Superior analytical skills, particularly in financial analysis;
  • Ability to analyze data and identify optimization opportunities;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
