Job Description

What is the opportunity?
The global Market Data Services team consists of three sub-groups (MDS Administration, MDS Solutions and MDS Compliance) who engage, strategize and support enterprise-wide businesses and stakeholders.

This role in the MDS Administration team is responsible for the access management of market data services (including but not limited to granting entitlements, invoice reconciliation, payment and cost allocations); and partners with technology and operations professionals providing expertise on market data service orders.

*** Please note: This role requires to work 4 days in the office mandatory. ****

What will you do?

Market Data Billing (primary responsibility)

· Reconcile and arrange payment of market data related invoices in a timely manner
· Provide timely responses to business/vendor queries on invoicing
· Maintain strong relationships with accounting and finance teams
Market Data Control (possible requirements)
· Maintain global inventory of all market data related users, vendors & services
· Provide administrative support to the other Market Data Services teams
· Fulfill requests for adds/changes/deletes of market data services
· Develop a strong understanding of RBC procedures and processes
· Maintain strong relationships with exchanges, third party vendors and key business contacts

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 2 - 4 years of prior experience in Accounting or Finance

  • Proficient in more advanced functions of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables & v-lookup.

  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities often and complete tasks both independently or in a team setting.

  • Prior experience in invoice reconciliation, particularly within the financial services sector, is highly advantageous

  • Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to ensure accuracy in reconciliations

  • Strong ability to analyze invoices and related data and identify discrepancies is crucial

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors

  • Critical thinking with the ability to multi-task and manage a very high-volume desk

  • Experience working with market data suppliers is beneficial but not mandatory
