How will you make an impact in this role?

The role of Analyst - Marketing (Marriott Portfolio & Special Projects) involves managing initiatives across partner, portfolio, and campaign management, with flexibility to support new opportunities within the broader Product and Rewards teams.

In this position, you'll drive loyalty and engagement within the existing Marriott Card portfolio through marketing campaigns. You will enhance your analytical skills by preparing and analyzing monthly reports. Candidates should possess a customer-centric mindset, along with strong project and partner management skills.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage targeted engagement campaigns from strategy development to creative execution and analysis.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies to develop collateral that drives customer engagement; measure campaign performance to inform future strategies.
Strategy & Analytics
  • Support development and execution of the portfolio strategy.
  • Develop regular reports on key business metrics.
  • Conduct periodic competitive and qualitative assessments to understand customer and market trends, providing insights and commentary.
Project and Partner Management
  • Serve as a key contact for Marriott to facilitate joint marketing plans and goals.
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop and implement value-added offers and communications.
  • Coordinate across broader Amex teams to improve efficiencies, processes, services, and Cardmember experiences.
  • Support portfolio management tasks such as invoicing, customer escalations, and budgeting.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or Commerce with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven self-starter with initiative, results-driven, capable of managing projects from conception to evaluation.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial and performance data to identify opportunities.
  • Flexible with priorities and adaptable to new opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
