Job summary

Stalwart Insurance Brokers Ltd. is seeking an Insurance Analyst to join our Vancouver or Toronto offices.

You will support senior staff across a broad range of operational, analytical and administrative functions, with a focus on insurance operations and client files. You will assist with daily operations, planning and executing initiatives, and maintaining accurate client and policy records while liaising with insurers and service providers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, finance or related field.
• Interest in or exposure to the insurance industry is a plus.
• Ability to manage detailed documentation and records.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff and managers in daily operations with a focus on insurance activities.
• Support planning and execution of operational and strategic initiatives by the executive team.
• Prepare and review client and policy documentation.
• Administer applications, renewals and policy changes.
• Maintain client and policy records across systems with data accuracy.
• Liaise with insurers, underwriters and service providers on outstanding items.
• Research insurance products and providers as directed by senior staff.
• Identify process enhancements, automation opportunities and best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations and track KPIs.

Summary

We are looking for an Insurance Analyst to join us at our Vancouver or Toronto offices. In this role, you support senior staff across a broad range of operational, analytical and administrative functions, with a particular focus on insurance operations and client files.

Role Overview

Your role will include:

• Assisting staff and managers in daily operations, with a focus on insurance activities
• Assisting the executive team in planning and executing operational and strategic initiatives
• Supporting the preparation and review of client and policy documentation
• Assisting with the administration of applications, renewals and policy changes
• Maintaining client and policy records, and keeping data accurate across systems
• Liaising with insurers, underwriters and service providers on outstanding items
• Researching insurance products and providers as directed by senior staff
• Identifying and implementing process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best practices
• Preparing reports and presentations
• Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics

Required Skills or Experience

• Undergraduate degree, ideally in business, commerce, finance or a related field
• Interest in or exposure to the insurance industry considered an asset
• Comfort working with detailed documentation and records
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
