Job summary

Autism Services is seeking an insolvency administration support professional to assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services. You will help analyze data, review financial records and support formal insolvency appointments such as bankruptcies and proposals.

The role involves building relationships with referral sources and preparing all BIA documentation, including Statements of Affairs, 170 Reports, Court Orders, Affidavits, and Certificates of Discharge.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of insolvency experience or professional services experience outside insolvency considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act would be an asset.
  • Completion and/or willingness to enrol in Insolvency Administration/BIA courses is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review all relevant BIA documentation including Statements of Affairs, 170 Reports, Court Orders and Affidavits, Certificates of Discharge, Trustees Supplementary Reports to Court, Pre and Post Bankruptcy Tax Returns, Final Statements of Receipts and Disbursements, etc.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to debtors; ensure debtor needs are met.
  • Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the debtor
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
