Reporting to the Team Lead, Infrastructure Security and working within the broader Infrastructure Security team, the Analyst, Infrastructure is responsible for the security and maintenance of Windows servers and workstations, requiring deep expertise in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune. This role ensures compliance with security standards by deploying updates, monitoring patch status, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing the platform and processes. The ideal candidate will have significant, demonstrable experience managing scaled SCCM environments, alongside strong skills in Intune, Windows Server, and client endpoint management.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in server patching processes
  • Plan, schedule, and deploy Windows patches and updates using SCCM and Intune to ensure security and stability
  • Troubleshoot patching failures by analyzing logs, performing root cause analysis, and taking corrective action
  • Maintain and improve SCCM infrastructure, including distribution points and client health monitoring
  • Develop and maintain Intune-based update policies for cloud-managed devices
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update Group Policies (GPOs) related to patch management and security baselines
  • Communicate and collaborate with server owners to ensure patch compliance
  • Analyze patching processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft patching best practices and emerging technologies related to endpoint management
  • Assist in endpoint security and system hardening initiatives to minimize security risks

Qualifications

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Microsoft certifications and 3-5 years of experience in SCCM patch management, Windows Server administration, and endpoint management
  • Experience working with the ServiceNow change and incident management processes
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and be adaptable to respond effectively to issues as they arise
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize amongst multiple projects at once
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish language skills are an asset
