Job Title : Analyst – High Risk Client Management

Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Employment Type : Full-Time Contract

About The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join our High Risk Client Management team. This role is critical in supporting the bank’s risk and compliance framework by identifying, assessing, and managing clients with elevated risk profiles. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk clients, including politically exposed persons (PEPs), complex ownership structures, and clients in high-risk jurisdictions.
  • Analyze client data and transaction patterns to identify potential risks or suspicious activity.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk assessments and documentation to support onboarding and periodic reviews.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and business units to escalate and resolve risk-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML / ATF regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Criminology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or AML within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory requirements (e.g., FINTRAC, OSFI).
  • Experience with EDD, KYC, and client risk rating methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with client onboarding systems and risk scoring tools.
  • Knowledge of global sanctions regimes and adverse media screening.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Toronto,ON.
