National Grid is hiring an Analyst for our Gas Engineering & Construction Department in Melville or Syracuse, NY.

We deliver safe, secure energy to homes, communities, and businesses daily. Our expertise positions us to shape a sustainable future for our industry, anticipating customer needs and reducing energy delivery costs while pioneering flexible energy systems.

Job Purpose

Perform tasks to ensure the timely management of Key Performance Indicators using Power BI. Manage the hiring plan by tracking organizational staffing. Support Band B & C with special projects and tasks, and serve as a Grid: Voice survey Champion.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage & engineer the GAME organization.
  • Create and update hiring plans for all directors in the GAME organization.
  • Review survey results, identify trends, and recommend actions for GAME.
  • Coordinate Service Transfer Logs.
  • Lead Business Continuity Process for GE&CS and GAME.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites for GAME NY.
  • Coordinate metrics for the Network Delivery Process with Project Controls and Investment Planning.
Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree with one year of analytical experience preferred, or three years of analytical work experience.
  • Experience with Metrics and KPIs preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps).

Downstate NY Salary: $100,000 - $118,000 a year

Upstate NY Salary: $83,000 - $98,000
