Responsibilities

  1. Execute client engagements assisting with fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments, and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for various clients, industries, and disputes.
  2. Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financial statements, and trace funds/accounts.
  3. Analyze financial data and contribute to the development of independent expert financial reports and models.
  4. Assist in developing project plans and coordinate logistics with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research, analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals, and other high-quality deliverables.
  6. Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships are strengthened.
  7. Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to preparing and delivering competitive proposals.
  8. Collaborate with the client engagement team effectively.
  9. Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
  • Currently working towards or planning to pursue a CPA designation.
  • Interest in pursuing a Forensic or Valuations designation in the future.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in public accounting or professional services; advisory or consulting experience is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program.
