Horizon Recruitment Inc.is currently working with a growing organization looking to add anAnalyst, Financial Planning & Analyticsto their team. This position plays a critical role in supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights and financial guidance through budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and special projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a consulting, FP&A, or financial services background who thrives in a fast-paced, strategic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of key financial insights including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Lead and maintain reports related to Assets Under Management and key performance metrics
  • Build and manage complex Excel-based financial models
  • Analyze large data sets from various internal sources to identify trends and strategic insights
  • Conduct research and assist with preparing materials for senior stakeholders
  • Liaise with teams across the organization to gather financial inputs and ensure alignment
  • Support ongoing process improvement and standardization efforts within FP&A
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, relevance, and high-quality deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA designation strongly preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience with Power Query and data visualization tools an asset
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation-building abilities
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Rewards:
