Job description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently working with a growing organization looking to add an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analytics to their team. This position plays a critical role in supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights and financial guidance through budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and special projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a consulting, FP&A, or financial services background who thrives in a fast-paced, strategic environment.

Responsibilities :
  1. Support the preparation of key financial insights including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  2. Lead and maintain reports related to Assets Under Management and key performance metrics.
  3. Build and manage complex Excel-based financial models.
  4. Analyze large data sets from various internal sources to identify trends and strategic insights.
  5. Conduct research and assist with preparing materials for senior stakeholders.
  6. Liaise with teams across the organization to gather financial inputs and ensure alignment.
  7. Support ongoing process improvement and standardization efforts within FP&A.
  8. Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
  9. Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, relevance, and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements :
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
  2. CPA, CFA, or MBA designation strongly preferred.
  3. 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a related field.
  4. Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills required.
  5. Experience with Power Query and data visualization tools is an asset.
  6. Excellent PowerPoint and presentation-building abilities.
  7. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  8. Able to work independently in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  9. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Rewards :
  1. Base salary of $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience).
