Mandate:

The role is responsible for the timely calculation, processing, and reconciliation of commission compensation for Financial Planners (FPs). This includes bi-weekly reporting for payroll, monthly sales reporting, and yearly sales incentive calculations.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Administration of the sales compensation database
  2. Investigation of commissions and general compensation questions from FPPROGRAM
  3. Respond promptly to FPPROGRAM inquiries and emails
  4. Approve and implement manual adjustments to compensation as needed
  5. Review and act on reports from the compensation database to ensure accuracy
  6. Review and process deal cancellations and recoveries from MSs
  7. Review and QA sales data from the scorecard team
  8. Communicate with the scorecard team to resolve data issues
  9. Log employee guarantees and process them
  10. Process clawbacks of compensation as required
  11. Produce bi-weekly payroll reports for Alight
  12. Create and distribute compensation statements to FPs
  13. Generate monthly management reports
  14. Prepare reports for the accounting team
  15. Produce ad-hoc reports as needed
Knowledge and Skills
  • Attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Experience managing sales compensation plans is an asset
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across departments
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Access
  • Comfortable with SQL queries and working with Microsoft Access
Salary:
$41,300.00 - $76,500.00

For part-time roles, salaries are pro-rated based on hours worked. For roles with commissions, the listed salary is the target for the first year.
