This position will assist the Manager/Supervisor with month-end reporting, yearly and quarterly budgets, year-end audit processes, and daily reporting and internal controls.

Day in the Life
  • Complete monthly account analysis (including Intercompany), prepare Rig Review statements, analyze business trends, and provide recommendations to support performance
  • Prepare and post advanced journal entries, accruals, and corrections; perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate coding of revenue and costs
  • Prepare GST/PST returns, assist with year-end reporting for Tax, Audit, and Corporate Accounting, and ensure adherence to SOX and internal controls
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and accounting process documentation
  • Work with Accounts Payable, Billing, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accuracy, provide reporting tools (Excel spreadsheets/graphs), and perform other tasks as assigned
What We Need From You
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience required and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Organized with an ability to balance multiple projects in the face of competing priorities
