Position Title : Analyst, Economic Policy & Sustainability
Reports to : Director, Economic Policy & Sustainability
Location : Montreal, Canada
ACI World is actively involved in a range of aviation and airport economic policy developments, representing the world's airports at ICAO and other bodies. We also assist the ACI regions and airports in achieving economic sustainability, providing local support as needed and developing global guidelines for the benefit of the airport industry. ACI is looking for an Analyst to maximize its impact on global economic policy and the value it brings to airports.
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and policy positions to advocate for airport economic and financial interests globally.
- Support ACI engagements at ICAO and other relevant panels by drafting working and information papers and developing spreadsheets and presentations.
- Develop presentations and advocacy initiatives for ACI Members, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Draft regulatory submissions in support of airport members in coordination with ACI Regional offices.
- Conduct desktop research and economic analysis of aviation industry stakeholders' financial reports.
- Coordinate with the Data Analytics Team to ensure timely and relevant economic data flow.
- Support activities related to the ACI World Economics Standing Committee (WESC) and other airport member working groups.
- Assist in the secretariat duties for the sub-committee of the WESC - Airport Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Activities (ANARA).
- Develop agendas and minutes for conferences, forums, and working group meetings.
- Coordinate with other ACI World areas and departments such as Data Analytics, Sustainability/Environment, Service Quality/Customer Experience, Security, etc.
- Partner, liaise, and manage activities with other international organizations (e.g., ICAO, IATA, OECD-ITF, ACI regional offices), airport operators, and private companies to exchange information, best practices, and joint deliverables.
- Participate in relevant ICAO, WESC, and ANARA working groups as directed by the Director, Economic Policy.
- Contribute to the ACI Airport Economics Report under the guidance of the Director, Economic Policy.
- Undertake other assignments as directed by the Director, Economic Policy.
Qualifications :
- 1 to 3 years of experience in economic analysis, preferably within the aviation or airport industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to manage data effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Project, etc.) and data analysis tools.
