What you'll be doing

As a member of CIBC’s digital Analytics and integration Team, the Analyst, Digital Analytics Co-Op is responsible for contributing to projects that impact the business through in-depth quality assurance, proactive thinking, stakeholder communication, thorough documentation, and advice on moderately complex business information.

The Analyst, Digital Analytics Co-Op uses independent judgement to provide support to project teams, applying a comprehensive, conceptual and practical understanding of the area of specialization to a wide range of business and technical situations while analyzing business performance. you will use your analytical skills to support the team in conducting analysis that will help process improvements.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  • You are enrolled in a degree in Business/Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field at the time of the work term with a graduation date of April 2026 or later.

  • Location: Toronto.
  • Duration of Work Term:4 months (September 2025 – December 2025).

How you'll succeed

  • Project Requirements - Work closely with business partners and Analytics development team to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Superior interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation.
  • Consultation Expertise –Develop reports and answer ad hoc request. Ability to answer and explain the data in the reports to business users. Find client improvement opportunities and build comprehensive data analysis.
