About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk, this role oversees and executes cyber & IT risk assessments related to acquisitions, from pre-acquisition analysis to integration of assets into our Cybersecurity & Technology Risk program.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team and technology leaders to support pre-acquisition due diligence and integration activities.
  2. Draft memorandums and support executive calls consolidating findings and recommendations.
  3. Prepare cost estimates for IT separations, carve-outs, and divestments.
  4. Oversee IT separation processes and remediation activities.
  5. Maintain trackers for risk mitigation and integration progress.
  6. Coordinate meetings to monitor risk integration and ensure compliance.
  7. Update documentation and reporting for risk management and portfolio oversight.
  8. Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other tasks during periods of low M&A activity.
Knowledge and Experience Required
  1. 2-4 years in M&A, Controls Testing, Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, IT, Cybersecurity).
  3. Working towards certifications such as CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar.
  4. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical leadership.
  6. Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  7. Willing to work outside standard hours and travel internationally as needed.
  8. Excellent English skills; French is an asset.

This position requires a minimum of 4 days on-site work, with potential reassessment based on circumstances.
