Job Summary

The Analyst, Customer Payments is responsible for performing complex payment-related tasks within the customer payments department. This position performs research, problem resolution, and payment processing. The analyst will also be required to provide assistance to other team members as needed.

*Candidates for this position must reside in Calgary, Alberta.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Post customer payments for various business units in a finance ERP system.
  • Assist with responding to incoming customer emails related to payment inquiries.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and completely on every transaction processed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments including credit and collections, billing, and finance operations to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Review daily batch reports to identify potential issues and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Assist in resolving disputes between third parties and our customers.
  • Provide support during audit processes.
  • Adhere to strict security procedures when handling sensitive information such as customer information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or Batchelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.

Key Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Finance ERP Systems and applications experience preferred (SAP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$56,300 - $93,900
