Job Description

Investment Operations supports many of the Credit Investment teams with transaction management, asset servicing, investment accounting, reporting and valuations.

We are searching for an Analyst to support the day-to-day accounting and monitoring of the Private Credit Investments portfolio. ***Please note that this is a 16-month contract position with expected working hours of 11:30am -7:30pm***.

Role-Specific Accountabilities
  • Support the Director in building out an End-of-day function within Credit Investment Operations.
  • Act as key EOD control person to ensure accurate holdings, pricing, cash, and performance for our Credit Investments team. Provide valuable insights and commentary when necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy of trade tickets and accounting entries.
  • Maintain an ongoing effective working relationship with internal investment staff and external asset managers to ensure issues are discussed and resolved and financial controls and reporting requirements are met.
  • Continually strive for operational excellence; seek ways to streamline processes, create operational efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced controls and data integrity (with a focus on using Gen AI tools).
  • Ensure process documentation is kept up to date.
  • Prioritize workload in a timely fashion to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Comfort with working EOD hours (11:30am – 7:30pm) and providing holiday coverage.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities.
  • Interest in in Gen AI tools (including data parsing and scraping) and overall comfort with data. Passion for improving process with technology.
  • Solid understanding of debt instruments and investment accounting.
  • Solid prioritization and organizations skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or other related discipline preferred.
