Job summary

MNP, a leading national accounting, tax and business advisory firm in Canada, seeks an Analyst to join its Consulting team in Winnipeg. You will assist in engagements, perform data analysis, and help prepare client-ready reports and proposals.

You will contribute to strategic planning, financial modeling and operational improvements while collaborating with a diverse, entrepreneurial team. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or project management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proposal, planning and implementation of consulting engagements.
• Perform detailed research, interpretation and analysis of data.
• Model financials, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program reviews and other management consulting tasks.
• Support the design, development, formatting and proofreading of reports, proposals and slide decks.
• Contribute to development of ideas to improve work processes and use internal programs effectively.
• Coordinate workflow and tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery.
• Attend internal MNP courses to further consulting knowledge.
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proposal, planning and implementation of consulting engagements
• Perform detailed work involving research, interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
• Perform financial modeling, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program reviews, program redesigns and other forms of management consulting
• Support the design, development, formatting and proof reading of high-quality professional reports, proposals, slide decks and correspondence
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
• Coordinate workflow and perform tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery
• Attend internal MNP courses to further develop consulting knowledge
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in finance, business, project management or other combination of advanced post-secondary training and relevant professional experience is an asset
• Previous work experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment is an asset
