What you'll be doing

As a member of the Compensation team you’ll be responsible for validating & administering pay adjustments, investigating discrepancies, and resolving any compensation related inquiries as part of a team. You’ll apply basic theories to identify root causes and proactively work with key players to implement process improvements and resolve discrepancies. As an Analyst you will use your judgement regarding priorities and approaches to prepare monthly reports, conduct analysis, track exceptions, and manage commission data. The role collaborates to contribute useful ideas on enhancing operational efficiency & accuracy , and works closely with internal and external business partners to provide support and respond to inquiries

How you’ll succeed

  • Streamline Processes and Support Commission Operations– Assist the Compensation coordinator in optimizing and streamlining workflows. Provide guidance on complex issues, manage escalations, and support the resolution of commission-related challenges. Drive process improvements and ensure seamless backup support for commission processing and accounting functions within the team.
  • Compliance of Procedures and Controls – The role involves reconciling, investigating, and validating commission payouts, preparing financial journals, and producing moderately complex reports, attestations, and issue resolutions. It also includes supporting audit processes, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, Industry Licensing Standards, and assisting in maintaining the Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Participate in Projects and Cross-Functional Relationships –Act as a partner in projects run by internal/external partners and/ or vendors to assist investigation and any commission related issues. Collaborate with BFS (Broadridge)/ Centralizes on scheduled system enhancements and review UAT testing results in coordination with the process coordinator.
  • Data Management - You have strong spreadsheet and understanding of databases and data management skills (Microsoft excel and Microsoft Access). You enjoy investigating, and making sense of information. You’re confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
