Join the momentum at MNP. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Capital Projects team, working with First Nations and Indigenous communities. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm for infrastructure projects in various sectors. Our consultant specialists take a client centric approach to project delivery and are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and expertise on a diverse range of projects that vary in scope and complexity. We provide clients with insight and solutions related to their challenges, as well as guidance to help our clients make informed decisions that will put them ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Performance Expectations

  • Provide owner’s representative (project and construction management) support in in overseeing studies, and engineering and construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control in remote settings.
  • Provide project monitoring support for the design, delivery, and administration of client work.
  • Provide budget and financial management support to track / meet funding constraints and requirements.
  • Design, develop, format and proofread professional reports, proposals and correspondence.
  • Develop relationships with clients and ensure the delivery of high-level client service.
  • Have an understanding and respect for Indigenous cultures, traditions, and governance structures, integrating these considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel to rural and remote locations and adapt to varying project demands and logistical challenges.

Credentials

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Experience in engineering and construction project management, including technical knowledge of construction methods and building systems is an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project and construction management, specializing in capital and large-scale infrastructure and community development projects.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, EIT or similar) are an asset.
  • Experience in consulting environment is an asset.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.

The annual salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000. Individual compensation is commensurate with skill set, relevant experience, and education.
