JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Analyst to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to JLL’s National Retail Investment Team. The position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with the team on all subclasses of retail real estate, and will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the team and the successful candidate will be strong at, and enjoy working with numbers, possess strong writing skills, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Work closely with and assist senior team members to create, edit, and prepare:
- proposals and presentations
- marketing packages
- Underwrite commercial real estate investment opportunities
- Work with Argus Valuation Software often and proficiently
- Conduct research and collect information materials on market fundamentals, tenants, and undertake economic and financial analysis
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Business Administration
- 2+ years full-time professional experience in the commercial real estate sector preferred but not required
- Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel (financial modeling)
- Proficiency in the use of ARGUS real estate software
- Knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to work well under pressure while prioritizing competing deadlines
