Position overview: Reporting to the Manager, Business Planning and Analysis, Airport Operations, this role supports financial reporting, planning, and analysis to aid organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliation processes, including variance analysis on revenue and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with Airport Operations Management on strategic initiatives, monthly accruals, and invoice inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison with accounting for month-end activities, variance reporting, and audit inquiries.
  • Develop Excel-based financial models to analyze scenarios and impacts on airport strategies.
  • Maintain and update revenue and cost models in Workday Adaptive, including UAT testing.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on financial and operational performance for management and governance bodies.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to support financial decision-making.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to measure performance.
  • Assist in budget and forecast development, ensuring data accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to reflect strategic initiatives in financial plans.
  • Manage FESTI’s revenue database, ensuring data integrity and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support the FESTI Finance Manager during audits, month-end, and revenue amortization processes.

This unionized role offers an hourly wage of $38.00 based on a 37.5-hour week. Candidates must be available to start upon selection, and an Excel test is part of the process. External candidates should provide references to verify experience.

Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business/Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant designation (or in progress) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a large organization, with IFRS familiarity preferred.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Financial systems, Essbase/Hyperion, Adaptive, and Oracle Discoverer.

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with enterprise reporting databases.
