You and Your Job

The main task and responsibility of the Analyst/Associate – Corporate Clients is to support the other front office staff and credit analysts with a view to improve the productivity of the team.

The Analyst/Associate will work closely with the Relationship Managers, Vice Presidents and the Credit Analysts on the preparation of client meetings and pitches, financial modelling, producing credit applications and other approval documents, portfolio monitoring and on managing data entry into the CRM system (e.g. pipeline management, call report production, etc.). Analysts/Associates will also be expected to provide support on special Rabobank Canada projects as needed across a variety of functional areas relating to the administrative and regulatory framework of the branch.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the objectives of Rabobank Canada Wholesale Banking and the responsibilities of relationship managers and credit analysts;
  • Develop a basic understanding of the industry dynamics in the F&A sectors;
  • Gain initial experience in the different phases of the transaction lifecycle (origination, structuring, execution and monitoring);
  • Provide guidance and support to Corporate Client Analysts, as appropriate;
  • Develop an understanding of the various lending products offered by Rabobank Canada Wholesale Banking and a basic understanding of other (lending) products and services offered by Rabobank
  • Develop basic credit risk analysis knowledge and skills.

To be considered for the Analyst/Associate - Corporate Clients role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, commerce, or a related field and a
  • 1+ years’ of related experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess financial statements and understand and credit risk;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
  • Teamwork and adaptability, especially in fast-paced, client-facing environments; and
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Analyst Target Hiring Range: CAD $90,000.00 - $130,000.00

Associate Target Hiring Range: CAD $120,000.00 - $170,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank Canada employees, including healthcare benefits, employer registered pension plan contributions, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and possible discretionary bonuses.
