Hello, I'm Hugo, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.

I'm looking for an accounting analyst for my client in the east end of Montreal. This is a permanent contract, 100% face-to-face in the office (flexible schedule).

Your responsibilities:

1. Participate in the month-end closing process, including recording journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts;
2. Prepare and analyze financial results and analyze variances from forecasts;
3. Prepare month-end files;
4. Participate in the preparation of financial statements;
5. Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files;
6. Contribute to the optimization and automation of accounting processes.
7. Prepare and review various accounting analyses, in particular as part of month-end processes and the maintenance of accounting records.

1. University degree in accounting or other combination of relevant education and experience;
2. Between 5 and 8 years' experience in a similar position, retail an asset;
3. Knowledge of Excel and new technologies;
4. Organizational skills, strong analytical and collaborative spirit;
5. Thoroughness and attention to detail.
