I'm Romane, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll.

I'm looking for a financial accounting analyst for my client in the agri-food sector. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode in Saint-Hubert, working 35 hours.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and present monthly results for overall administrative costs, with consolidated variance analyses;
2. Manage the accounting of administrative expenses under his/her responsibility, while ensuring data compliance and accuracy;
3. Collaborate with department managers (Directors to Senior Vice-Presidents) to align financial and operational objectives, including regular meetings and presentations;
4. Coordinate and consolidate quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for global administrative expenses, for presentation to senior management;
5. Actively participate in optimization projects, in particular to reduce monthly closing times;
6. Provide proactive support to departments on financial matters and respond to requests for ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration (accounting option) and CPA designation;
2. 7 to 10 years' experience in a firm or company, including expertise in consolidation and financial analysis;
3. Mastery of ERP systems (Oracle and SAP);
4. Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, macros);
5. Very good command of written and spoken English.
