The Opportunity

The Analyst provides direct client service support and their focus generally encompasses the following areas :

• Client Reporting : preparing quarterly investment reporting packages using internal reporting processes.
• Data Governance : ownership of client documentation, compliance and general firm documentation.
• Client Accounting : providing support to complete financial statement and tax compliance deadlines.

Description of the Role

The individual will be primarily responsible for the following :

• Assisting in compiling client quarterly investment reporting.
• Managing client documentation (i.e. account openings, Compliance) to ensure proper processes have been followed and filed properly.
• Completing other ad hoc tax and accounting tasks as required.
• Executing other ad hoc requests and reporting as required.

Skills and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance
• 5+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Experience in the investment industry is an asset.
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects of varying priority.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Above-average organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a timeline-driven environment and to integrate and add value in a team environment.
• Desire to acquire skills and build a long-term career in a unique environment.
