Job description

A career as an Analyst in Transaction Settlements within the International Settlements team at the National Bank offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in developing and executing strategies across all business lines. You will play a role in the Bank’s transformation by participating in various transaction settlement processes.


Your responsibilities:


· Serve as a resource for activities related to Canadian & American Settlement


· Oversee the settlement of equity transactions at the depository


· Analyze discrepancies in the settlement process


· Monitor activities to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures


· Collaborate with different sectors to provide technical support to stakeholders


· Offer information for decision-making and recommend process improvements


Your team:


This position reports to the Manager of International Settlements. You will work daily with a team of experts. Our team, currently of twelve motivated members, offers opportunities for remote work.


Within the Operations, Financial Markets team, numerous career advancement options are available, including staying in the same role, promotion, or moving to other sectors.

Prerequisites:


· A three-year college diploma or equivalent in a related field, with three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience


· Good knowledge of Listed Products


· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel


· Ability to learn new systems quickly


· Ability to work under pressure accurately and efficiently


· Experience in Financial Market and Payment Operations


· Experience in resolving issues with irregular transactions
