Job summary

Cineplex in Barrie, Ontario is looking for an energetic Amusement Host to operate all major attractions and enhance the guest gaming experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced, social environment, this role may be right for you.

You will upsell games, keep stations clean, assist with restocking, and be a trusted resource for guests’ questions on events and pricing. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and you must meet the age requirement for licensed venues.

Qualifications

• For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
• You preferably have some experience with customer service
• You can complete tasks with attention to detail
• You have strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.

Responsibilities

• Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them.
• Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well‑maintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store.
• Being a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.
