Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems, related equipment, and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Assist in the Preventative Maintenance Program using work orders issued by supervision and document work performed
  • Make equipment adjustments safely during production
  • Familiar with start-up and shut-down processes in production plants
  • Use lockout/tag-out procedures to isolate equipment prior to work
  • Troubleshoot electrical components with a meter when equipment is down
  • Establish a schedule for parts replacement without disrupting processes unless safety is a concern
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
  • Ammonia refrigeration or refrigeration experience
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with air compressors and control systems
  • Good communication skills for timely repairs and issue resolution

Must have a stable work history to be considered.
