Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an AML/ATF compliance professional in Vancouver to analyze sanctions-related alerts and support investigations. You will help maintain a robust wires screening program and Enhanced Due Diligence, while ensuring accurate records and adherence to current AML/sanctions laws. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Candidates should have a degree or diploma, 2+ years in relevant fields, and consider CAMS an asset; proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma; asset: 2+ years in criminology, law or money laundering/fraud investigation.
• CAMS certification or similar designation is an asset.
• Experience in AML/ATF and sanctions compliance is an asset.
• Knowledge of sanctions legislation is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze sanctions alerts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Collaborative and effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sanctions-related alerts and escalate high-risk cases.
• Support AML/ATF investigations and sanctions compliance activities.
• Maintain awareness of current AML/ATF and sanctions laws/regulations.
• Support the 3 Lines of Defense model in daily activities.
• Contribute to wires screening program and Enhanced Due Diligence.
• Maintain detailed records per procedures.
• Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
• Assist change management initiatives.
