Altis Technology is seeking an AML Analyst in Toronto to independently investigate AML cases, including transaction monitoring alerts and EDD reviews, while maintaining documentation and timely reporting. The role supports a growing Compliance team during a busy period of increased activity and backlog reduction.

This 6‑month, full‑time contract offers collaboration with experienced professionals and potential for permanent conversion, with a hybrid work arrangement in Toronto, ON.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in AML investigations, transaction monitoring, or Enhanced Due Diligence.
• Working knowledge of FINTRAC regulations, including STR preparation and submission requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to assess transaction patterns and financial crime risks.
• Experience managing high‑volume investigations while meeting productivity/quality expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with thorough documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate AML cases, including transaction monitoring alerts and EDD reviews.
• Prepare thorough case documentation and STRs per FINTRAC requirements.
• Help reduce investigation backlogs while maintaining a production target.
• Collaborate with AML Team Lead to elevate high‑risk findings and ensure quality.
• Apply analytical thinking to deliver timely, accurate case outcomes.
