Qualifications

Air Borealis is unique entity in Canadian aviation. Offering service to Northern and Coastal Labrador on a scheduled and charter basis with both fixed-wing and rotary-wing services, Air Borealis is a collaborative, mutually beneficial partnership between the Innu Development Limited Partnership, Nunatsiavut Group of Companies and PAL Airlines, a vital link for its customers, and an essential service provider to the communities in its network. We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with our Maintenance team to join our growing crew of dedicated aviation professionals supporting Air Borealis maintenance operations. Our Operations: Rotation Shifts:Rotations will be on 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off basis, working 12-hour shifts.Terms would last between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.Our Flight Line Maintenance involves all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. The work done by our Flight Line team includes layover checks up to heavy check, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.Our base is in St. John's NL; however, this role would also have the opportunity to be located in various locations throughout the Maritimes. Qualifications & Skills: Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS;Required: M1 LicenseExperience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:Twin OtterThe ability to work both independently and in a team environment;Troubleshooting skills;Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills; andKnowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
