Job summary

SkyCare Air Ambulance in Thunder Bay, ON is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) (except avionics) for permanent full-time on-site work. You will troubleshoot mechanical systems, repair and overhaul components, and install or modify engines and related systems.

Maintain records and manage routine maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate holds an AME Licence and high school diploma, with MS Office skills and experience on small jet, piston, and turboprop aircraft.

Qualifications

• AME Licence - Aircraft required
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair beneficial

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems
• Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
• Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
• Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports
• Perform and document routine maintenance
