VOLUNTEER POSITION(S)
Work in a collaborative environment to foster awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and generate contributions to combat it through event planning. Committee members will work to involve and inform students of Alzheimer’s disease through volunteering programs that provide friendship and support, as well as raising funds towards Alzheimer’s Kingston through various events.
This application will remain open until August 17th at 4pm.
Time Commitment And Responsibilities
An approximately 8-month term from September 2025 to April 2026 with a time commitment of 1-2 hours per week
- Attend committee meetings and events
- Work within sub-committees to organize event planning, marketing or coordinating volunteers
- Work alongside the Alzheimer’s Society of Kingston in hosting events

Marketing & Research Director (1)
Lead marketing efforts and oversee research to guide awareness campaigns. Ideal for someone who can think strategically and creatively.
Events Director (1)
Plan and oversee impactful events that raise awareness and support for Alzheimer’s Kingston. Great for someone who enjoys logistics, leadership, and creativity.
Sponsorship Chair (1)
Build connections with local and national sponsors to support our fundraising events. Best suited for someone confident in outreach and communication.
Partnership Chair (1)
Create lasting partnerships with Queen’s groups, departments, and the Kingston community. This role is perfect for someone who values collaboration and community building.
Marketing & Research Coordinators (2)
Assist with social media, poster design, and research for campaigns. A great fit for creative thinkers with an eye for detail.
Events Coordinators (2)
Support the planning and execution of events throughout the year. Ideal for organized and enthusiastic team players.
General Member Coordinators (2)
Help recruit, organize, and support our general volunteers. Great for those who enjoy working with others and building community.
