Qualifications

  • Physically capable of manual labor including lifting and bending.
  • Able to work in confined spaces.

Job description

Aluminum Welders: Harvey 2607

We are currently seeking reliable skilled aluminum welders.

Candidates must be experienced and punctual, and must be able to perform tasks that include, but not limited to the following:

  • Able to pass 3G welding certification with GMAW process.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Fit-up and weld parts, sub-assemblies, container vessels, etc.
  • Correct and safe use of production tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
  • Able to work overtime as needed

Requirements and qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years welding experience (Majority with aluminum)
  • Math, reading and writing skills
  • Proficient mechanical skills
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching, comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Able to operate industrial machinery and equipment (Overhead Cranes etc.)

This is a full-time position.

The hours are Monday to Friday (6:15am to 2:30pm), not including overtime during the week, and / or weekend.

Successful candidates will receive competitive wages of $30 - $42 per hour based on experience, / Plus $2 per hour premium, for confined space work.
