The Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre is seeking an ASSP Support Worker to assist with coordination, delivery and administration of the Alternative Secondary School Program(s). The Alternative Secondary School Program Support Worker is responsible for assisting with the coordination, delivery and administration of the Alternative Secondary School Program(s) (ASSP), which includes the provision of quality educational activities and services to youth. The ASSP Support Worker will work in partnership with the Lakehead District School Board and other stakeholders, and will utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that promotes youth engagement and learning of urban Indigenous students, which ultimately supports their efforts in achieving their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
