What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high performance and scalability
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices
- Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues to optimize content delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate Akamai solutions with existing systems
- Document technical information, user guides, and maintain security protocols for CDN infrastructure

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a CDN Engineer role or similar position
- Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Proven experience with Content Delivery Network technologies and cybersecurity practices
- Proficiency in scripting and experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
