SECAmb have been given an exciting opportunity to work in partnership at Gatwick Airport on the new SOLO contract. This will be on a dual role basis and include working on a SRV whilst at Gatwick Airport and undertaking double crewed ambulance shifts out of Gatwick make ready.
Due to this being an external contract, your actual contract and place of work will be Gatwick make ready centre with shifts allocated as part of a rota pattern which incorporates shifts at Gatwick airport.
Our vision is to become a world-class provider of emergency and urgent healthcare services in the pre-hospital and out of hospital environments. To help us achieve this aim we are recruiting for Experienced Paramedics.
We are looking for empathetic and committed individuals who are eligible to register with the HCPC and hold a BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc or BSc award in Paramedic Science or Practice. Applicants must have an excellent knowledge of pre-hospital care, be methodical and systematic and demonstrate compassionate care in their daily interaction with patients.
Experienced Paramedics should hold the Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving and C1 Licence.
Applicants must also have the ability to deal with stressful and sensitive situations whilst being highly motivated and enthusiastic.
We want to support you through that transition and watch you grow through a tailored programme of personal and professional development within our Trust.
This is a two year secondment and you will need to be in commuting distance of the airport.
You will need to undertake additional security and occupational screening in line with the airports requirements.
This is a full time role

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
