Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an IT Solution Support Engineer to oversee High Level Controls (HLC) across airports worldwide. You will ensure the reliable operation of baggage handling software, monitor system stability, diagnose complex incidents, and drive continuous improvement with global teams across engineering, operations and life-cycle services.

This hands-on role requires solid IT fundamentals, strong communication in English, a proactive mindset, and willingness to travel up to 25% to support

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles and HLC systems in automated logistics.
• Foundational IT infrastructure knowledge and software development principles.
• Strong affinity with Industrial Automation and logistics processes for HLC systems.
• Knowledge of Linux commands, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Databases, Java and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation and performance of HLC systems deployed at airports.
• Analyse and resolve complex HLC incidents and system issues.
• Lead integration between HLC and interfacing systems and support deployments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across global locations.
