SSP Canada operates multiple restaurants inside the Ottawa International Airport. Our Food Service Associates prepare, serve, sell, and stock delicious food and beverages for our guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience working in a food service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• English language proficiency required; French an asset.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of menu items and ability to promote them.
• Experience operating a POS and processing orders/payments.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and give change.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery/equipment.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Return items to proper places and organize work/storage areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to health standards.
