Job summary

The Inland Technologies Canada in Ottawa is seeking an Equipment Operator to join a team focused on the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of glycol recovery and associated processing equipment used in airport environmental services.

You will follow SOPs, monitor glycol processing units, perform quality testing, assist in transfers, and collaborate with airport authorities and contractors. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidelines for equipment operation near airfield personnel and aircraft.
• Collect spent glycol recovery fluids and manage safety:**
• Operate and maintain testing equipment and monitor glycol processing units.
• Perform quality testing and accurate reporting; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Assist in glycol recovery operations and fluid transfers between tanks.
• Work cooperatively with airport authorities and contractors and maintain a professional image.
